Overview

Gentle is designed for anonymous, offline use. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data from users through the app.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any of the following through the app:

• name
• email address
• phone number
• postal address
• account credentials
• photos
• contacts
• location
• health data
• payment data
• device identifiers
• usage analytics
• crash logs
• advertising data
• diagnostics
• user-generated content

No Account Required

Gentle does not require account creation or login. You can use the app anonymously.

Offline Functionality

Gentle operates offline and does not require a server connection for its core functionality. The app currently does not send network requests for analytics, advertising, tracking, or account services.

Local App State

Your selected session settings, such as meditation technique, breathing technique, timer duration, and ambient sound choice, are used only during the current app session.

These settings are kept only in temporary memory and are reset when the app is closed.

Children's Privacy

Gentle is intended to be safe for general audiences, including children. The app does not collect personal information from children or adults.

Third-Party Services and SDKs

Gentle uses RiveRuntime only for animations. Based on the current implementation, we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash reporting SDKs.

Payments and Subscriptions

Gentle may offer premium content via Apple in-app subscriptions in the future. Purchases, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store.

We do not currently collect or store your payment card details through the app.

Device Permissions

Gentle may use background audio functionality to allow sound playback while the device is locked.

Gentle does not request access to:

• camera
• microphone
• photos
• contacts
• location
• calendar
• Bluetooth

Data Sharing

Because we do not collect personal data through the app, we do not sell, rent, or share user personal data with third parties.

Data Retention

Gentle does not maintain user accounts and does not persist personal data. Session settings are temporary and are cleared when the app is closed.

International Users

Gentle is made available worldwide through the App Store. Because the app does not collect personal data through the app, no personal user database is maintained by us.
